Activities Coordinator
Plans,
organizes and coordinates an educational
and recreational program for senior
adults, including physical activities,
health activities, human services, and
special interest classes and programs.
B.A. in Recreation or 3 years experience
in related field working with active
older adults and volunteers. Strong
interpersonal, organizational, and
communication skills with
excellent internal and
external customer service
skills. Candidate must be Proficient in
Microsoft XP Professional, Excel
2007,
Outlook 2007, and use of the
internet. Local extensive travel
required, therefore candidate should
have good driving record and reliable
transportation.
Part Time (20 hours per week)
Accounting/Administrative Clerk
To perform
basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
Duties also include reviewing invoices,
bills, vouchers, or other documents for
corrections before entering into
records, sorting and filing documents,
and performing calculations. Candidate
must have strong accounting, database
management and preparation of agency
funding reports skills. Candidate must
be Proficient in Microsoft XP
Professional, Excel 2007, Outlook 2007,
and use of the internet. Candidate will
possess excellent communication,
organizational and
time management skills, with the
ability to multi-task and attention to
detail. Must be a team player, work
efficiently with minimal supervision,
and provide excellent internal and
external customer service. Candidate
should possess a
high school diploma plus 3 years
accounting support experience.
Part-Time (29 hours per week) Case
Manager-Waller County
To provide
ongoing support and expertise through
comprehensive assessment, planning,
implementation and overall evaluation of
older adults (60 +) for
meals on wheels program. The
overall goal of this position is to
enhance the quality of life for these
older adults to maintain their
independence in their own home.
Bachelors degree in social
services or geriatrics or 5 years plus
experience in related field. Strong
interpersonal, organizational, and
communications skills with the
ability to provide excellent internal
and external customer service. Ability
to collaborate and coordinate
partnerships with co-workers and other
social service groups. Candidate
must be Proficient in Microsoft XP
Professional, Excel 2007, Outlook 2007,
and use of the internet. Local extensive
travel required, therefore candidate
should have a good driving record and
reliable transportation.
