March 24, 2010 - March for Meals/Mayors for Meals

March for Meals/Mayors for Meals is a national campaign, initiated and sponsored by Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA), to raise awareness of senior hunger and to encourage action on the part of the local community. All Federal, State, County and Local officials representing our area are invited to deliver meals during this campaign.

Saturday, May 1 - Cinco de Mayo
La Cocina Mexican Restaurant • 515 FM 359, Richmond • 5:00 – 10:30 pm

The evening includes a live band, live and silent auctions, a raffle and drink specials. Through the continued support this festive event, Andres Novoa, owner of La Cocina, has been able to donate over $60,000 to help feed our Seniors in Fort Bend County.

Friday, May 14 – Mad Hatter Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show presented by Prime Living Magazine
Red Oak Ballroom • 800 W. Sam Houston N., Houston  77024 • 11:30 – 1:30 pm

This hats-on event is one of a kind including a Keynote Speaker Linda Lorelle, Emcee Roseann Rogers, Spring Fashion Show by JoAnn's, Fashion Show Hair & Make-up by Salon Eben & Day Spa, Hat Contest, elegantly decorated tables by area designers and florists, vendors and more!!!
