An evening of mystery, entertainment and
many surprises!
Fort Bend Seniors is
accepting
nominations for the Fort Bend King and
Queen, and the Fort Bend Knights of the
Round Table and their Ladies, so
send us
your vote. (Votes for those 40 and over
please) Then one sunny day, without
warning, a court handmaiden will appear
at the winners office, during lunch or
a family outing to hand deliver the
Royal Announcement of their appointment.
In the Winter, the Knights returned from
their travels and the women welcomed
them with a Royal Ball, to celebrate
their safe return and to recreate the
passion of the homeland, possibly
lost during their years absence. As the
music played, the Royal women of the
Court, in their finest gowns and small
masks flirted with their knights. On
November 20, 2008, the Royal Ball will
once again be held, to celebrate Fort
Bends finest.

 Tree
of Honor - Light up a Life!

In conjunction with Miracle on Morton
Street, Richmond, Texas
Throughout the year, most of us stay so busy we
often forget to tell those we love and care for
how much they mean to us. Yet, throughout the
year, the community is invited to purchase a
light on the Tree of Honor to honor and
celebrate the special people in your life,
celebrate a birth, anniversary or wedding,
someone in the military, or in memory of a loved
one.
A card will be sent immediately.
Those who
have lights on the Tree of Honor will be
sent a card immediately after receiving
the purchase information, to let them
know you have purchased a light in their
honor. During the Tree of Honor
Celebration, Dec. 6, the names of those
with lights on the Tree will be read. In
Jan 2009, the names will be published in
the newspapers.
